I designed these tote bags (& badges) for the Varsity Newspaper. The Varsity newspaper is the oldest of Cambridge University’s main student newspapers and is one of only three fully independent student newspapers in the UK.

In 1953 it was the third newspaper in the world to report the story on DNA. I replicated the front of the DNA newspaper as one of the little newspapers in the illustrated collage. The other newspaper references a letter by Harry Newman about how the newspaper began...

There is also a little bike on top the V which was inspired by some of the student pranks done in the past!
